Terms of Use
Last checked · JH Solar guide

These terms of use apply to everyone who reads the guides or uses the tools on this website. By using the site, you agree to them. They are written in plain words so you know exactly what our pages can and cannot do for you.
Estimates Are Not Quotes
Our solar computation tool and the worked examples in our guides give estimates based on the numbers you enter and on assumptions we show, such as peak sun hours and system losses. Real results depend on your roof, shade, weather, equipment, usage and electricity rates.
An estimate is not a quote, an offer or a promise of savings, output, backup time or payback. Unit prices shown on the site cover the all-in-one unit only. The price of a full system, with panels, mounting, wiring, labor and permits, is confirmed after a site assessment and given to you in writing.
Guides Are General Information
Everything on this site is general information for Philippine homeowners, small businesses and DIYers. It is not professional engineering, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace a design made for your specific property.
Rules on permits, net metering and product standards can change. Where we write "as of" a date, check the current requirements with your local government unit, your utility or the agency concerned before you act.
Electrical Work Needs a Licensed Electrician
Wiring to your panel board, grid connections, net-metered systems and any AC-side work must be done by a licensed electrical practitioner, such as a registered master electrician or professional electrical engineer, following the Philippine Electrical Code. Our DIY guides cover only small DC-side, off-grid setups, and you follow them at your own risk, with the fuses, breakers and grounding they describe.
Product Details and Ratings
Details of JH Solar Version 1 and Version 2, including their ratings and unit prices, may change as models are updated. Images and descriptions are for guidance.
If anything on the site differs from your written quote, the written quote governs. It lists the equipment, the work included, the price and the warranty terms that apply to your order.
External Links
We link to government agencies, utilities and reference sources to help you check facts. We do not control those sites, and their content, availability and privacy practices are their own responsibility.
Limits of Our Responsibility
We work hard to keep our guides accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise they are complete or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on general information or estimates from this site instead of professional advice, a site assessment or a written quote.
Nothing in these terms of use limits any rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be limited, including your rights as a consumer.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
